When Hope hosts a birthday party for her alcoholic mother, Ruby the stage is set for a family reunion from hell, where the liquor and mind-boggling revelations are served up by the half gallons. Attending the reunion is Hope's husband who has a secret, her 15-year-old bed-wetting son, and a menagerie of aunts, uncles, hustlers, and drug dealers. The large 13-member cast is made up of regulars from previous Tanner hits including POT MOM, ZOMBIE ATTACK, SPACE THERAPY and TEEN GIRL, as well as some newcomers. David Schweizer takes the reins of this semi-autobiographical, scarily touching comedy, fulfilling Tanner's longstanding dream of working with the internationally acclaimed director. |
